Purpose:
- To honor students who appreciate mathematics
- To encourage mathematics study through different activities and competitions
- To promote leadership qualities and positive character
Eligibility
- Finished Algebra 2 course
- Cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher in Mathematics
Expectations of M H S Members
- To be available for math tutoring. All math teachers and guidance counselors will be provided with a list of all MHS members, and subjects for which they feel comfortable to do tutoring
- To do 6 hours of tutoring at school
- Participate in the testing for math competition and be part of the team if selected
- To attend all meetings on regular basis
- To pay the annual fees of $5
